Adventures of a 30something

I graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.A. in broadcast communication. I live in Starkville, MS. I have a rather goofy personality. I love cats, and my favorite color is purple. I am a grammar snob. My musical tastes vary, but I mostly like hard rock, classic rock, grunge, and alternative. I love 80s music, especially the big hair bands. My favorite group is Aerosmith. I love to see good bands play live, so I write a lot about that. My journal is mostly a lot of fluff. There is a lot more to me than what I write about on LiveJournal.

I love getting comments, because it lets me know who is actually reading my crazy rambling, especially if you have recently added me or occasionally lurk here. I post about my life and some of my daily adventures, the occasional profound thought, or whatever silly thought is running through my head at the moment. I think a lot about everything, often too much, and I tend to have a hard time expressing my thought processes into words. If you read enough of my writing to like what I have to say, add me to your friends list and leave a comment to let me know you added me.

I haven't had to deal with very much drama on LiveJournal. Unfortunately, one particular situation has brought about the need for this disclaimer. Whether I say something about my private life in a friends only entry or I tell you certain things about myself outside of LJ, it shouldn't be too much to ask that you respect my request to keep certain details confidential. Claiming that you have the right to blab about certain private details of my life in your LJ just because we interact regularly will not be tolerated. I'm on LJ to keep up with my friends and make new ones. I'm not on LJ to be the object of some creepy, weird guy's stalker obsession. Don't invent a fake romantic relationship with me in your head just because I'm nice to you and then cause drama because you think I've cheated on you in your imaginary relationship with me.
